Another day, another hardened criminal. This perp is 23-month-old François Bertillon, charged with having nibbled all the pears in the basket.

Little François is the nephew of Alphonse Bertillon, the creator of the modern mugshot, pictured here in his own mugshot. No word on whether François was a first-time offender, or what kind of time he was sentenced to for this terrible crime.
