Asheville, N.C., is one of my favorite cities. Another is Andrews, N.C. located in the northwest corner. One time it was a perfect location to buy furniture.

The High Point area is still known for its beautiful furniture. They have an enormous furniture mall there where you can buy beautiful pieces at a fraction of the cost elsewhere.
