In doing research for “The Christmas Tree Ship” posted a few days ago, I discovered some vintage Christmas cards in the New York Public Library’s Digital Library. Since it ’tis the season, it seems appropriate to relive Christmas of a few real people who lived in the early 20th Century.

I have a lovely card from the early 20th Century like these that I display at Christmas. It’s in a frame that displays both front and back. It was sent to my aunt and uncle by a friend.
