This 1908 photograph was entitled The bridge, Venice and made by
Alvin Langdon Coburn. It has a mysterious feeling to it. Who do you suppose the man on the bridge is? I’m going to guess he’s a priest, summoned to someone’s sickbed to hear a confession.
