Dear Old Spirituals readers,
I want to thank you all for visiting throughout the year and commenting on and liking the posts. I feel like together we are in ensuring this most unique time in our history doesn’t become lost in the sands of time. Salvaging what is lovely!
I want to share a little personal news which is that I’ve parted ways with my publisher. On the surface, you won’t see many changes. As of today, this site no longer contains direct links to the books on Amazon. And my books and audiobooks will temporarily disappear from the Internet but I hope to republish all four of them in 2024, with new covers (which I will preview with all of you, of course)!
Grievous Deeds eBook will be republished in January. Grievous Deeds is first because the audiobook is nearly done! I am so excited about that. Samuel A. Burst is the narrator and Bryan Gibbs is the audio engineer and they have really brought the story to life. It sounds awesome! So stay tuned for updates about the audiobook and a first look at Grievous Deeds’ new cover.
In the meantime…
✨ I hope you have a wonderful new year planned and look forward to seeing what magic unfolds for you ! ✨

1910 Illustration shows Father Time ringing bells proclaiming “The Greatest Good for the Greatest Number”, while a crowd in the street celebrates the New Year by using noisemakers, horns, drums, and cymbols to sound their personal causes, such as “Partisanship” and “Partisan Politics”, “Ring Politics”, “Spoils System”, “Women’s Rights”, and “Calamity Howling”.
Happy New Year! Excited for your new covers!
