Now that I’m revising Cold Heart so I can republish it, I’m finding lots of Buffalo related materials!
This is the beautiful Electric Tower, which awed visitors to the PanAm Exposition in 1901.
In this picture, you can see the Electric Tower during the day, as well as some visitors. Look how spacious and clean it was!

I find it strange that in the second photo, with the two couples in the foreground, the man is holding the umbrella only over himself. It was usually the lady who carried a sun umbrella.

Thank you, Ruby! Cold heart is far and away my most popular book. I knew I had to republish it so I’ve actually done a lot more research and added details and photos to the updated book. Once the cover is done and the updated book is out, I’ll have some contests and give away some copies to our little group here so you can check it out. I will say based on some of the new info, there’s a stronger case against one of the suspects than I initially thought. We’ll see what you think!
