These old pictures have a misty, ephemeral feel. It seems to be a lost art, I think the modern way is to make it as detailed and high-resolution as possible… but the modern way lacks mystery
Agreed! In today’s world, people want everything to be “in your face” . . . . BOLD, PRONOUNCED. As Albert Einstein once said, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” To appreciate this photo the observer must have “imagination.”
