Do you know what I realized today? I’ve been saying this is Year 6 of Mugshot March, but it’s actually Year 7. Math was never my strong suit.
Today, for the finale of Mugshot March 2026, my longtime friend KT Thomas and I examine the case of Bertha Reid, a San Francisco landlord and arsonist in the 1920s. We had varying opinions on the case and a lot of fun talking about it.
KT is a mom, business professional, philanthropist, sugar artist, traveler and total foodie! You can check out her websites at sweetartisancreations.com and love4sugar.com.
It was so much fun to talk over a case with her! I hope you enjoy it!

you get the best guests!!

A mug shots is often a vision into the soul of the subject. In the case of Bertha Reid’s mug shot I believe she has no a soul.

Wow, really? Just looks empty to you?

Absolutely! Her look is non-expressive, complacent. What she did has no significance to her.
